This is a personal portfolio site. It collects as little data as possible. This page explains what happens when you visit.
Data I collect
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics loads and records anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, approximate location, browser type). This helps me understand which work gets attention. If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded and nothing is tracked.
I do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties beyond the hosting and analytics providers listed below. I do not run ads, retargeting, or fingerprinting.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics — loaded only after explicit opt-in. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which means your IP address is visible to Google on each page load. This is an open item I plan to fix by self-hosting the fonts.
- Static hosting — the site is served as static files; standard web-server access logs (IP, timestamp, requested URL) may be retained briefly by the host for operational purposes.
Cookies
No cookies are set unless you accept analytics. Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage
under the key ar-consent so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.
Changing or revoking consent
You can revoke consent at any time — click the Manage cookies link to re-open the banner. Clearing your site data in the browser has the same effect.
Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Since this site does not collect or store personal data directly, these requests mainly concern Google Analytics data — which you can opt out of using the banner or Google's opt-out browser add-on.
